The Problem

Endometriosis: A Major Unmet Need in Women's Health

Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory disease in which endometrial-like tissue grows outside the uterus, causing severe pelvic pain, broader systemic symptoms and, in some cases, infertility. Treatment remains largely limited to hormonal suppression, pain management and surgery—leaving many women without satisfactory long-term solutions.

The Biology Behind the Disease
A Complex Inflammatory Cascade

Endometriosis involves a complex cascade of inflammatory processes. Upstream in this cascade is the iNOS/NO pathway: activation of iNOS leads to excessive, sustained production of nitric oxide (NO), driving multiple downstream processes associated with the disease.

The Solution

Going Upstream to Target the Disease Biology
Ravisét®: The first upstream, non-hormonal therapy for endometriosis

Ravisét® is a first-in-class, oral, non-hormonal therapeutic designed to intervene upstream in the inflammatory cascade driving endometriosis.

Rather than suppressing hormones or simply managing symptoms, Ravisét® targets the iNOS/NO pathway - designed to reduce excessive nitric oxide production and the downstream processes it drives, while preserving normal ovarian function and reproductive potential.

How Ravisét® works

Inhibiting excessive nitric oxide production at the enzyme level

Without Ravisét®
Uncontrolled NO Production

With Ravisét®
Blocking NO Overproduction

Ravisét® is designed to inhibit nitric oxide synthase activity by competing with L-arginine at the enzyme’s substrate-binding site, reducing the production of nitric oxide (NO).

By targeting disease-relevant iNOS-driven NO production, Ravisét® is designed to reduce excessive NO signaling and the downstream inflammatory and pain-related processes associated with endometriosis

Why Ravisét®

Redefining Endometriosis Treatment

By targeting disease-relevant iNOS-driven nitric oxide production, Ravisét® is designed to move beyond hormonal suppression and symptom management—addressing an upstream inflammatory pathway with the potential to influence multiple downstream processes associated with endometriosis.

Anti-Inflammatory, Non-Hormonal
Targets disease-relevant iNOS-driven NO production without hormonal suppression

Systemic Relief
Aimed at reducing the broader systemic burden of endometriosis, including widespread pain and stress—not just localized symptoms

Oral & Non-Invasive
A tablet designed for convenient use and integration into standard clinical practice

Established Human Safety Experience
Prior clinical exposure provides an established foundation of human safety and tolerability data

Current Approaches

Hormonal Suppression
Suppresses normal hormonal function to control endometriosis symptoms

NSAIDs & Analgesics
Provides symptomatic pain relief without addressing the underlying disease biology

Surgical Intervention
Invasive treatment with substantial risk of disease or symptom recurrence

Targeting Endometriosis:
Confronting Decades of Silent Suffering

The stark reality is that women with endometriosis continue to face limited treatment options, while the full burden of the disease remains almost entirely unacknowledged.

You spend so much of your life being called a liar as someone with endometriosis. It's a brutal, full-body disease - the pain is widely considered worse than the last stages of childbirth.

Being in the public eye and having to deal with this disease is really unforgiving. It’s a special kind of hell to be in that position of isolation.
